August Challenge – A-Z of Growing Your Business Online

August Challenge

This August I’m doing something different.

Usually I write posts that are longer and fewer. Most of my posts are between 1000 – 2500 words. I like to write long. But this month I want to do something different.

This month I am giving myself a challenge. I am going to create a new post for each letter of the alphabet. My aim is to create short, actionable posts, each with a topic that will help you grow your business online.

So expect a new post almost every day in this next month. The posts will be shorter, but I hope they still pack a punch for you.

It’s a challenge for me to do something different, and a test to see if I can. I like to challenge myself.

But I also aim to provide useful and valuable posts, not just fluff.

To add something useful to this post, apart from letting you know what’s going on, I want to challenge you too. If you keep doing the same stuff in your business, or with your blog, then you can’t expect different results. You have to experiment, change things up. It’s also great to challenge yourself, as you never really know what you are capable of until you try. So I challenge you to challenge yourself.

I’ll see you tomorrow with the letter A.

Hey Carlie,

Looks like an interesting challenge that you have going on! I have been reading, writing, and playing guitar daily. I’ve just wrapped up a new blog post and will be publishing daily for the next 90 days.

The best way to get better at something is to practice and implement daily!

Look forward to following your posts in this challenge.

Thanks,
-Gabe

Hey Carlie, I think this is a fantastic challenge for you and knowing the amount of effort and quality you inject in all your work I know this is going to be beyond interesting for you and your readers (me included of course).

Hi Carlie,

Great challenge, its high time I experimented and tried another direction not just for myself but for my readers, then continuing with the method that’s best for them.

I’m not the type that post daily, I’ll try that sometimes in the future. The main point is offering what your readers are going to like and putting yourself aside.

Can’t wait to check out your posts in the upcoming challenge.

This is going to be lots of fun Carlie and, i will like to watch you do it.

Yea, its always good to be challenging ourselves with new things and i like your approach so far.

Doing the same thing over and over again will certainly not get you different result so, its always good to try and do something different.

Thanks for sharing and, good luck in your new challenge :).

Hi Carlie,

challenging myself is something that I really like. Otherwise I’m just not able to focus on the most important tasks but try to do everything at once.

Can’t wait to read what you’ve got for us, I’m sure you’ll blow us away with your content

Best regards

That’s so exciting. I’ll be checking out your blog.

I have been trying to do a few things daily, although it doesn’t always happen daily. I have been recording it “don’t break the chain” style. Well, I’ve broken the chain once so far, which I am actually happy about. It’s working for me as motivation!

Will you literally be writing on the blog daily? I like to write blog posts in batches. So, I’m about 2 weeks ahead at the moment. Also good if I fall sick, the blog keeps turning.

Thanks for your kind words, Sergio. I just wanted to challenge myself, while also trying something new to see if people like the shorter posts. Plus lay down some great founding posts for my website – I can see what topics people are excited about and expand on them later.

Thanks Gilbert.

In my head I have a quote from somewhere, I’m not sure where. Maybe I’ll claim this quote as my own! But the sentiment is, if you aren’t challenging yourself, then you aren’t moving forward in your life/business – you’re just staying exactly the same. I don’t know about you, but I want to get a head, not stay where I am right now.

Theodore, thanks for stopping by again.

You speak the truth! I want to always be challenging myself. To do the same thing over and over sounds stale. If it’s boring for me, it is even more boring for my audience.
